The checkout process is always glitching. Trying to purchase EBT eligible products with more than enough funds available on the card yet I'm unable to because I'm not directed to the screen where you are able to select free shipping as you must when purchasing with EBT. Instead it sends you straight to select payment method which makes using EBT impossible right now since you aren't even given the option to select free shipping.

Something has changed on the Amazon web site. My log in now requires the phone number I have registered be checked with every attempt to do anything. I never experienced this until about 10 days ago. I can find no help for this issue. I set up a new account to I could order a product I needed.

I have spent weeks on and off trying to explain that whenever I try to log in to my account Amazon sends me a notification to which I must respond.As I do not have a smart phone I am unable to do this and am once again locked out.I have even laboriously typed in the 51 character account access code to my tablet but get an error message? I have spoken to some charming help desk individuals for up to half an hour at a time but they seem unable to come up with a solution.I have now bought several items locally because Amazon is so problematic.I am resolutely against having a smart phone

I was having this problem with Chrome. I went to the padlock showing to the left of the address in the address bar, clicked on that and then clicked on Cookies, deleted all cookies for Amazon. Site started working right again.

I keep getting we 're sorry, an error has occurred please reload this page and try again" If I go into the Cookie for Amazon and delete "session-id" and refresh the error goes away but if you go to another listing or refresh again the message comes back. I was not logged into my account during this. If I log into my account no issues on either browser.

Scott Crout Arlington MA I have been locked out of the Amazon site for 5 days. Multiple calls back and forth. Customer service (also supervisors) say all they can do is to submit forms to their software troubleshooting group. No return status to them 24- 48 windows for solution. Now its upped to 1-5 days! As the days go by, the same conversations repeat. Their words and reactions are canned. I've gotten better info from supervisors.
No repair status change over time. All relational database troubleshooting done internal to Amazon. I suggested contract it out to professionals. 1300 customers impacted now. I found that if your laptop and your smartphone are on the Amazon site (same IP addresses on each box) this can lock you out. You get an error message (Allow or Denial). Can override this condition. But now even this doesn’t work.
Too bad Jeff Bezos is not running the company. Andy Jassy hasn't a clue of how to handle this. Call me at 781-539-7387. Or email me at scrout@usa.net. I now find Google mentions Amazon problems (over the world, different business areas) the last couple of years, some serious. Customers have left! Major problems.
Now I have to go to Whole Foods for groceries and whatever else! The best to you!
