App is useless

The App has not been working for several days. Three days ago I paid for a basket three times and payment went through only for ‘unable to complete the order’ to come up with card refunded BUT basket then lost and no clue as to why order could not be completed.
Tried several times since and now App will not transfer selected items to the basket.
App is useless and not sure how or why Boots survives as a busines

Tried placing the same order twice on line to be told valdation or simthink didn't pass?so I contacted customer services who made me feel like a criminal.She told me I had had 10 orders cancelled since dec2023? What the hell is she talking about?I have never ever had any orders cancelled or have ever had any previous problems with boots,I asked to speak to sumone higher to be told there wasn't anyone else there,I said I demand a call back as this is extremely worrying what she was saying.i checked my on line account and have never had 10 or any other orders cancelled this has really upset me,the lady in question told me she was going to hang up on me and she did I want answer this is not acceptable.

Tried to order an item at Boots Online on Dec 29th 2022 using a gift card in conjunction with my credit card to pay the balance. Unable to do this, tried several times with a different credit card. Just would not work.
Some staff on the phone absolutely useless, could not care less. One or two out of about twenty over the course of three days tried to help but to no avail. Most said they were unaware of any technical glitches but surely there must be others out there who have reported the same problem.
Latest is that the website does not recognise that there is any credit on my gift card. Have I lost it? Who knows!
Dreadful website and for such a large company such as Boots to seem not to care enough to try and put right the problems - unbelievable!
I have raised two complaints but not heard back from anyone so far and do not expect to. It seems Boots can get away with this but must surely be using a lot of business. As for staff training and the calibre of most staff - what can I say?

Every time I click on the “checkout tab” it throws me back to the Home Screen. I can not check out from my account but if I log out of my account I can check out it’s so frustrating as I want to earn advantage points. I am having the same problem as Maxine Scott. Tried placing an order on the £10 Tuesday last Tuesday (11th October) just would let me pay asking to confirm address, even though it was a click & collect. Strange how I managed to order a couple of days later (full price obviously) although they did say they would refund the difference. Been trying to order the No.7 Advent Calendar, same issue. Trying to speak to them as I write this, been holding on for 15 minutes already. REALLY ANNOYING!

I am going mad here. I have been trying for days to order products through Boots online. Everything seems to be going fine until I try to pay then I get a message saying that I need to confirm the delivery address is correct. I have checked this; and even amended it via the edit options. But it makes no difference.
I have contacted Boots customer service who just keep telling me to clear cache, try another browser or device. None of which work. It just keeps stopping me from paying with this delivery address message. What is the point in having an online ordering system when I need to actually call them to place an order.
I have tried deactivating my account which does seem to have worked, but now I need to call them to reactivate it - I can't just register again. I buy Ole Henrikson products from Boots regularly, but think I'll just get them on Amazon and forget about buying from Boots at all.

Why would a multi-billion dollar business deliberately run their online business to alienate their customers and drive them away to the competition? Over the last 6 years of using Boots online this is the worst it has ever been:
1. It takes ages to load each and every page. A 10 min job takes 3 hours
2. The App randomly adds items to your basket
3. God help you if you need to delete items from your basket on the website or app. Which is made impossible when 350+ items have been randomly added to the basket
4. This multi billion dollar company is baffled by the idea of next day delivery - even tho it used to offer it. The 1st potential delivery date can be over week away
5. The Reorder button doesn't work. Most times it take you to a Something Went Wrong page (aye, me thinking this would be a good idea)
6. My advantage card is registered. It even says how many points I have. But it still prompts me to register it.
7. e.g., 6 items in the basket. I count 6. Not over 400 items. No, it doesn't come to over £3k and no I won't earn over 10,000 point on a card that u keep saying needs to be registered! How can any business allow a website to do just this one? It's EMBARASSING. Superdrug must be laughing their asses off.
8. No confirmation email. Did I really make it? Did I really manage to negotiate every hurdle and actually get the order in?
9. You only find out they have cancelled your order by checking their very.slow.online.shopping and your account. Now, YOU can't cancel your own order even if Boots put in a random address. But THEY can cancel it. Check the T&Cs, as Boots twitter likes to say. The mystery continues as to why my order that is apparently waiting at warehouse to go out in multiple deliveries is suddenly cancelled. No email. No explanation. You have to check your account to see if they have cancelled it
10. But the money is still pending tho. They cancel but the money is unaccessible to you for forseeable future
11. You do know that you are logged in on another device, don't you?
12. Do you think your data are safe in the hands of Boots? I realise Boots continue to get away with this because no one with any authority cares but do you think a website and App that runs like THIS is fort knox? All of this has happened to me Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and now Sunday. All of this was happening in April and May. If it weren't for the fact that this is Boots you'd think that this was a scam business to get your money and not provide goods.
13. Oh, and Boots are quick to take money for NHS services and slow to provide services. Prescriptions, vaccine appointments, covid testing. Blah blah. Basically a travesty in person at the shop as much as it is online.

Offers not applying, it shows "offers missed" in basket for every sale item, and they're all full price. Site is very slow and items take forever to add to basket, then they're full price and it just says that I'm missing out on the offers (that I'm trying to get but the site isn't applying them..)

Not overly helpful and made out it was my fault something (a free item) had added itself to the basket over 50 times leading my order to not process and yet you can’t actually add, amend or remove “free” items. They are automatic. Very frustrating!

I have been trying to get into my advantage card account for months and months. Every single time I try it doesn't load. I have never been able to retrieve my details to change my address to receive a new card. My balance also shows I have no points in my account however, this isn't true as I haven't even been able to spend them because I can't ever get in my account to check out??
